I have found the net to be one of the best support systems in existence. More and more places are discussing weight issues openly and honestly. The feeling that there are others experiencing the same thing I am helps. And being able to reach these any time of the day really is a great backup when I want to give up...and those times do happen even to the best people!

Weight Watchers
This site would get my award for most improved page if there was one. *grin*
They have gotten their stuff together overall to make this a very useful
site. However, please please please, don't pay for the e-tools!!
There are pages that have the same info without the price tag!
Journal to Success
Formerly SomeMooreCats Weight Watchers Resource Center.
Free online journal & other tools. It is a great site with a good deal
of useful tools to help you keep on track. A great site for keeping track
of everything online. Don't spend money on e-tools when you can do it for
free please!
FitDay
Has free tools including a food journal with an extensive listing of foods
(also breaks out nutrients, some vitamins, etc.). Also can track weight,
exercise & more. Again, free!
3 Fat Chicks on a Diet
I used to use this site a lot. Still check back sometimes.
Three sisters give it such a personal perspective on losing weight,
though I was terribly upset to see one got stomach bipass surgery. *sigh*
Still, there is great info & reviews. The forums are good too.
Harvard Medical School Consumer Health Information
Harvard Medical School information site. Contains extensive info on
different health related issues. One of the best sites on the net
with content that can be trusted.
Vitamin Listing
A briefer list to get you started. Lists most of the major vitamins &
their purpose.
Dotti's Weight Loss Zone
Dotti has some of the best info regarding restaurants & other foods.
She has over 300 restaurants listed on her site. All with WW points,
some with calories, fat, fiber & carbs.
USDA National Nutrient Database
An extensive site for nutriental info done by the USDA. Has tons of info
on general foods & some brand name items.
Calorie King
Terrific site when you need to figure out the calories, fat, fiber on an
item that you don't have the info on. Very extensive and useful. You can
still look up calorie info without being a member!
Dotti's Weight Loss Zone
Dotti gets double listed as her site is so useful!
The site includes a ton of info to help fellow WWers. Not to mention
Dotti has done a terrific job on taking off the weight and keeping it
off! There are lots of restaurants, forums & so much more.
If you only look at one link, it should be this one if you are a fellow
WWer.
To Goal & Beyond
A WW leader who does a weekly newsletter. The site contains the archives
of messages & more. Interesting stuff.
WW Journal for Excel
A old spreadsheet that lets your WW journal on your computer. This is
the old program, not Flexpoints.
WW Food Companion & Fast Food Companions for the Palm Pilot
My own labor of love. I can't claim any credit for the base program (List
and/or WWCalc), but originally all the data was input by yours truly.
Am I nuts... Probably. *grin* Luckily I had some help with the
database update & such from Jennifer.
WWCalc
WWCalc was the best Palm program for WWers. Then WW Legal came along.
*growl* Fortunetly, there are a few people who are still willing to share it.
so check out the
WWcalc-for-palm Yahoo Group to get a copy.
Ketner Lake WW Journal
Freeware Java application for PC/Linux. Haven't used it as I use my Palm
as it is always with me. Could be a terrific tool, but you need Java
Runtime to run it so please read the instructions.
Collage Video
I use this site to look up exercise dvds & get reviews. They also have
video clips that can really help determine if I will like the instructor.
Be aware Amazon.com almost always has the same ones for less.
So check there or dvdpricesearch.com for the best price.
Fitness Jumpsite
Includes a terrific exercise calculator that shows how many calories
you have burned by what activities you have done.
There are also tons of terrific info on exercise & book reviews.
Calorie Calculator for Exercise
Goes by height, weight, age & determines number of calories burned.
Three Fat Chicks Forums
I know what you are thinking...are they paying you for these pushes, but
honestly, this site just fits in multiple categories. They have
wonderful recipe forums broken down by type.
Weight Watchers Recipe Area
The recipes take some looking, but they do have a great deal that
you don't have to pay to use.
Cooking Light
This site has some great recipes. However, watch out, they are not all
low cal or fat. Though their search engine makes it easy to find what is
and what's not!
Allrecipes.com
A wealth of recipes, many with nutritional info included. Very
extensive, with some recipes not available elsewhere.
RecipeSource!
formerly SOAR - Searchable Online Archive of Recipes
Massive, searchable site for recipes. Not all low cal, but a great site
for nearly all the recipes you could desire.
Low Fat Cooking at Miningco.com
Interesting spot with a great many recipes.
Cookbooks On/Line
Great site with a good search engine. Another site you can get lost in.
But watch the recipes...most are not low cal/fat.
Equal Homepage
Yes, for the sweetener. If for no other reason, their Key Lime Pie
recipe is heavenly!
Three Fat Chicks Chat Room
Have to admit, I don't have much time for online chat these days, but this
site had some good people back when I needed support on a 24/7 basis!
*grin*
Weight Watchers Chat Room
You can almost always find someone online. I haven't spent time there in
years but I know it is still up and people use it.
Yahoo Groups
Yahoo has one of the most extensive bunch of mailing lists. Do a search
on Weight Watchers and there are hundreds of lists. There is probably a
list for everyone.
Lane Bryant
Honestly, I don't shop online for clothes much. However, I do shop in
their stores and love their clothes.
The Avenue
Haven't used them online, but good stuff in the stores.
Ashley Stewart Woman
Once again, I have shopped at the stores, not online. Wonderful
clothing. Their prices have drop, but so has the quality.
Junonia
A friend recommended this site as she loves their stuff. It is *great*
to see fitness wear in sizes up to 40.
Ulla Popken
I haven't tried their clothes honestly. I have heard nothing but raves
about them, but they are too pricey for my budget.
Barb's Large and Lovely
I love lingerie. I had given up on find it several years ago and started
sewing some of my own. However, it seems that FINALLY it isn't
all granny whites and girdles! Still way too pricey for the most part,
but most lingerie is. This site goes from 1X to 8X.
National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance Home Page
Surprised to see this here? Hope not. I believe that there is a great
deal of anti-fat attitudes that hurt more than help. Don't mistake my
personal health choice as anti-fat.
FAT!SO? On-line
A rather brash page that makes no excuses for weight, in fact it
encourages it. Not for those who believe dieting should be a way of
life. But interesting reading none the less.
On My Weigh
Anne is a wonderful woman who has lost 75 pounds on WW and is
continuing to keep it off! A terrific site also has some great resources.
Stephanie's Home Page
This woman inspired me so much when I first joined WW. She was always on the
100+ forums. She lost 139 to reach goal and working to get back to that weight.
I got rid of a lot of pages as they were dead or no longer being updated.
All comments, suggestions, or just hi theres are welcome! Just
