My Top Ten Reasons to Conquer My Weight

  1. To be healthy. Simple to say, but harder to do...
  2. To eat foods that are good for me so I will be healthy long into the future.
  3. To be able to enjoy physical activities with others without having to think 'Can keep up with them?'
  4. To learn how to stop food from controlling me and learn to control it.
  5. To reward myself without food, but though other means.
  6. To stop having doctors blaming my physical problems on my weight, rather than looking at the entire body.
  7. To get rid of my lower back pain (which is now gone!).
  8. To be able to find clothing that fits more easily and frankly, more cheaply!
  9. To give myself the chance to have children some day if/when the time comes (and at this weight,there could be serious complications).
  10. At 60, to be able to climb a flight of stairs more easily than I could at 30.
