Books are the greatest resource and no amount of net surfing can make up for the right books.
My interests are focused in the 1100-1550 given HMR focuses on those years. Now and again however, I dip into Elizabethian. With the interest in Henry that I have, it is hard not to be curious.
I am not an expert. These are just my thoughts...
Food was a very important part of the Middle Ages. There are books devoted to what they ate, how they ate it, where they ate it and lots more.
Tudor is broken out seperately as I read the most of that era given my persona is raised in the era of 1500-50 England.
